Team Up Mentoring is a ministry that reaches out to at-risk families through three main focus areas: teaching, enrichment, and mentoring. Team Up is dedicated to teaching families what they need for long-term success. Youth and families learn how to live a Christ-centered life and how to succeed in school and continue their education. Team Up participants grow as individuals and are enriched through cultural field trips, relevant seminars from community leaders, opportunities for leadership, a computer lab, and life skills education. Finally, each young person meets with a mentor three hours each week to focus on spiritual and academic growth, communication development, and problem solving skills, Adults meet once a month for two hours of Bible Study and support.
